Star Trek Into Darkness is a Horrible Movie A Comprehensive Review

JJ Abrams horrible 'Star Trek Into Darkness' was something he felt strongly about only one aspect of - he wasn't going to call it what it was - Star Trek 12. The word sequel is frightening to JJ and he fails at them every time. So we get nonsense name INTO DARKNESS. He tried to wipe away all other Trek with his bizarre Kelvin Timeline- which all fans hate- in the first mediocre movie he gave us. Here's my comprehensive review of this franchise killing, cinematic disaster.

The Snyderverse Needs to End

Years ago we saw 300 and wow were we ever blown away. Then a lot of time passed with Zack Snyder hard at work being the best knock off JJ Abrams he can as lead creative for the Cinematic DCU. Why Is Star Trek Discovery So Bad

Star Trek's  disappointing Discovery is revving up for yet ANOTHER POINTLESS and HORRIBLE Star Trek Hating season of unworthy total garbage. While the special effects are sometimes impressive and the title sequence is fine, there's nothing else to like about the show. We've been through a bunch of terrible stories and the show just gets worse and worse. There seems to be no consequences for this expensive, offensive, fan-less mess that failed so badly as a premium show it killed CBS ALL ACCESS. Its also achieved historically bad ratings when shown on regular TV. The show is a disgrace and a disaster. The single biggest flaw would have to be the BAD stories! Specifically - the uncreative and lazy over use of a single plot device to drive most episodes. Basically what's on the line in almost every 10 hour snoozefest is nothing less then - THE END OF ALL THINGS!! That's right, one characters life being in jeopardy no longer matters. No one would care if a character ...

FURY Is A Bad Movie with Great Action

FURY, with Brad Pitt is coming to Amazon Prime this month. This two hour and fourteen minute World War II movie released in 2014 falls easily into the "Gritty Combat" category. It's a bad movie with great combat sequences. The biggest reasons to watch FURY would be the action scenes. It's also well filmed, well directed, well paced and well acted. It looks and feels like World War II and has some great effects. We've only seen this kind of graphic brutality in Saving Private Ryan. On the downside, you can fairly call this movie deeply cynical and humorless. It's excessively dark and has heavy use of War Movie Tropes. It's a mixed bag at best. They just don't have enough tanks for a straight up mass armored combat movie, so the movie wisely places the story at the very front of the front. It's set in early spring of 1945 as the allies are progressing through Germany. It's the very last days of the war. We see one combat scene where a few US tan...
